ISO 9001 is a standard that places requirements on an organisation's quality management system. The quality policy must be documented on paper and all employees must be familiar with this policy. The organisation ensures customer satisfaction by meeting customer requirements and wishes and the statutory requirements applicable to the organisation's products or services. The standard also expects the organisation to prove that it manages its company processes, improves and guarantees them.
Every year the requirements of the standard within the organisation are checked by a CI (Certification Body) and once every three years, there is a recertification.
