Sustainable wall cladding in linear and grill design
All Derako systems are made of solid wood, a raw material that is renewable and also virtually 100% CO2-neutral. There is no other general building material that is produced with as little energy as wood. The Derako wall cladding solution can be design as the linear or grill system. The linear system comprises solid wooden slats that are mounted on a specially designed rear construction. The construction consists of anodised aluminium profiles that are equipped based on the specific project with slots for the fastening in stainless steel clips. The ends of the sustainable wood slats are connected to each other by a milled top tongue and groove connection. The grill panel system consists of solid wooden slats, fixed to each other by plastic flexible or aluminium dowels. The composite slats make up the grill panel which are connected to each other using a half-lap dowel.
Design for sustainable wall cladding
The new DERAKO solid wood wall system allows you to make a complex design simple and clear. When designing a sustainable wall solution, your creativity is the guiding principle. The architect specifies the forms in which this sustainable wall cladding can be used in curved or arched shapes. The systems and panels also provide improved acoustics and is therefore often used in public buildings. Derako staff will be delighted to advise you about special applications and technical details.
