The Derako wall system consists of solid wood louvers or slats that can be easily fitted using purpose-built suspension systems. This creates a double wall where, with a small joint width and the possible use of acoustic non woven tissue, the wall behind can be fully covered.  The benefit is that the wall behind no longer has to be renovated and at the same time you get a totally new, modern and warm look.

 

Construction of wooden double wall

In the Derako linear system, the double wall construction consist of an anodised aluminium SLR profile that is equipped based on the specific project with slots for the fastening of a patented clip. In a wall renovation with this system, different sizes and types of wood can be combined together, creating a unique, warm and lively feeling. The wooden slats are supplied as standard in various lengths, but upon request fixed lengths are also possible. The ends of the slats are connected to each other by a milled top tongue and groove connection.

 

Removable wall renovation system

The Derako linear wall system is fully removable. With the unique fastening structure of aluminium SLR profile and stainless steel clip, all wooden slates can be removed. The Derako installation instructions described clearly how this works.
